Impact Of War On Schools

The educational infrastructure, like every social amenity in Northern Uganda, has not been spared by the conflict between the LRA and the Uganda Government. This, however, has not dampened the spirit of learning in this area.
The population makes the best use of what is available as exemplified by the images below.

Students in Internally Displaced Camp: Awere Secondary School during a Chemistry Lab mock examination (August 8th, 2001). This is probably the most dangersous place to do chemistry.
